1.Wx型在低、中、高各頻的環境下，消聲量較平直、消聲量大，在低頻環境下起消聲效果尤其明顯。

2.其外管是采用鍍鋅金屬板，內管采用薄金屬板（鉆以孔徑小于1mm，穿孔率在1～5%間的微孔），內外管采用槽型骨架強化固定，通過微穿孔板上不同的穿孔率與板后不同的腔深有機組合，可以在較寬的頻帶內獲得較為良好的消聲效果。
